CHRISTMAS DAY '08

Christmas

This year for Christmas, we decided to go up to Utah to have Christmas with my family. Since we have had kids of our own, we never have gone to our family's house for Christmas morning to open gifts. We decided to make that venture and go up north in the cold, wet, snow, and enjoy Christmas with my parents and siblings. We had a great time, and are happy we went. We actually had a WHITE Christmas, it snowed all day Christmas, it was so nice. Behind my parents house is a mountain, so we had even more snow then the valley had. We were literally snowed in until my Brother-in-Laws came and shoveled us out. I was glad that my kids got to have a WHITE Christmas, and be with all of their cousins (on my side) this Christmas. It's so nice to celebrate the Birth of our Savior every year, and realize what's important in life. I hope everyone had a great and fabulous Christmas like we did!!

Favorite gifts that our kids got this year,
Marlise, Guitar Hero World Tour, Chi straightener
Cameron, Lazer Tag (Birthday gift also), Video Camera, Watch
David, Star Wars toys and games, Camera,

TEMple LiGHTs

Mark takes very good pictures.

Don't look so excited Marlise!

We went to the Temple lights this year with Brian, Suzi, and their kids. We had a great time, got there early before the crowds. We were able to see everything without fighting too many people. It's nice to live so close to a Temple.

Every year with Mark's family, we have a CHRISTmas party. I like to host it at my house because, I like to host parties (especially CHRISTmas). We had a baked potato bar to eat, and lots of other yummy food. The kids all act out the Nativity, which is very sweet, and gets us all in the CHRISTmas spirit. We also play some CHRISTmas games. We have a lot of fun, and I look forward to it every year. Marlise likes to be the Angel, and Cameron and David like to be Shepherds. Next year I'm going to suggest to them be something different to switch it up.
