Christmas EVE

I wanted to start a tradition on Christmas Eve to have a nice Turkey/Ham dinner with whoever in the family wants to come join us. I love to cook nice dinners, decorate the table really nice, and use my china a couple times a year. Brian, Suzi, and their kids joined us this year. We ate a yummy dinner, the kids made snowmen out of marshmellows, had some friends come Christmas caroling at our house, and then we drove around to look at Christmas lights. I love celebrating Holidays with family, so glad I have Mark's side of the family so close to us!

Notice Marlise in the background texting, that girl can't go five seconds without texting. What is this world coming to?!?!

Temple Lights For All To See

Every Year we go see the Temple lights with our family here. It make's us realize why we really celebrate Christmas and to not take the birth of Jesus for granted. After we enjoy looking at the lights, we go over to Bosa Donuts for a yummy treat, and some visiting time with family. We look forward to this tradition every year, thanks to all the helping hands to make it possible (My brother in law and nephews to name just a few).

O' ComE ALL YE FaiTHFuL!

Every year with Mark's family, the kids act out the Nativity. It's a really nice tradition we have to get us in the spirit of Christmas. Marlise always wants to play the Angel, Cameron and David usually like to be a wise man or shephards. This year Cameron was Joseph, he did awesome with Mary. David was a Shephard, what a cutie! I look forward to this every year at Christmas time, it wouldn't be Christmas without!!

I love this picture of Marlise, this is her to the T!!

TeAM EDwARd Or TEaM JaCOb

As everyone knows, I'm a BIG Twilight fan! So when New Moon was coming out, got an email about renting a theater with a group of Ladies to see New Moon of course I'm IN!! I got four tickets, one for me, my friend Carol, and our two daughters, Marlise and Kaitlyn. My preparation to go see the movie was to read New Moon again, I did in days. I even started Eclipse and read that too{I know I'm crazy}!! It couldn't get here fast enough, then it was finally Nov. 20Th!! Off we went to the Movie wearing our Team Edward shirts I made, and lots of candy in hand to enjoy during the movie. I loved every minute of it, and I'm proud to say, I'm still Team Edward!! The next week I went up to Utah for Thanksgiving, and we went and saw it again, even better the second time. Can't wait to own it on DVD so I can watch it over and over again, my poor husband!

This year for Halloween we had a fun block party that I organized. We all ate yummy chili and lots of food. Sorry I didn't get pictures of that part, hopefully next time. My kids this year were, David - Spider Man, Cameron - Ghost, Marlise - Who knows?!?!
They got way too much candy like always, and ate it all in a couple weeks. I know, sad!

My Family IS The BEST

All of us SIBLINGS

My Mom and Dad

My Sisters and Dad

I went to Las Vegas this fall to meet my family for a convention for my Dad's company. All of us kids were there. It was such a fun, emotional, no sleep time we all had. I love all of my siblings and miss them all of the time. I wish I could see them more. We need more family trips like this!! We got to meet lots of really nice distributors. I was really impressed by them all and their generosity for our family!
Thanks to my husband Mark who stayed home with the kids. It was a nice vacation with no worries!!

Cruisen With MY PEEPS

For our Oct. break, we decided to go on a cruise with Mark's family. There were four families, 18 of us total {surprised by Mark's Dad and Kathy who showed up when we were getting on the ship}. We went on the Carnival Spirit ship to the Mexican Riviera. It was for eight days, and we had a blast!! I enjoyed every minute of it, and can't wait to start planning our next one. The kids loved having their cousins there, and Marlise and Courtney made lots of new friends, and enjoyed having freedom to do whatever. Marlise and I went with Brenda, Megan and Courtney to swim with dolphins. That was an amazing experience, by far one of the best adventures I have done in my life that I will never forget. We saw cliff divers in Acapulco, and went to a couple really nice beaches to swim and play at. It helps when you have a brother-n-law speak Spanish!! We ate really well and had entertainment every day. We are a cruisen family and think there's no other way to travel and see the world!

David and his cousin Tyler playing in the waves, with our ship in the background. David was having a blast in the ocean. A couple times he got taken over by a wave, kinda of funny, kinda scary!!

The boys loved coming back to our room at night to see what towel animal was made.
